Mikey Smith

Mikey been Teaching for over 4 years @ Buchanans House Of Music in the heart of beautiful Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. I teach In person 1 on 1 lessons, or online via Zoom.

Beginner or intermediate, and any age. I teach tempo, grooves, basics, basic sight reading, songs, writing drum parts etc.

I’ve been playing drums for 19 years, played live all over Canada, released albums, I also won a drum off in 2018!

Andrew Parmelee

Andrew began his journey as a musician at the young age of 9 – fast forward almost 20 years and he has become a professional multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer & studio owner. He & his band have had the opportunity to record & play shoulder to shoulder with legends like Adam Gontier (Three Days Grace), Bif Naked, Todd Kerns (Myles Kennedy) & Jeff Martin (The Tea Party). While having a large amount of his mixing work in rotation on radio all over North America, he has also amassed millions of streams across streaming platforms.
 
As an honors graduate of Music Industry Arts at Algonquin College, he also received the “Best Production” award over 75 of his peers, and graduated with a 3.8 GPA. Specializing in drums, he’s been teaching students of all ages (as young as 4) on drums, guitar and bass – as well as placing youth artists in bands and coaching them about the industry, for over 8 years. Andrew teaches from the beginner, to the upper intermediate levels across the three instruments – online or in person in Ottawa, Ontario.

Chris Stephenson

“Chris Stephenson is a professional drum instructor who has been teaching for 14 years. His passion for teaching drums came a few years after beginning to study drum theory. With a wide range of experience from having taught at local Ottawa L&M’s, as well as major drum clinics, Chris is now a private drum instructor who teaches virtually on all video mediums for drummers of all ages/skill levels.”

Dickson Benjamin

Location: Ajax, ON Canada
 
Dickson Benjamin is a full time educator and performer based out of Ajax, Ontario. With 16 years of performing experience, Dickson boasts a strong educational background with an Honours Bachelors of Fine Arts (’14) in Jazz Performance and a Masters of Arts (’16) in Jazz Studies from York University. Dickson currently teaches 5 days a week at Long and McQuade – Pickering, and has held that position since November 2014 where he teaches all ages and skill levels, both in person and virtually.

Chris Belin

Chris Belin, sole proprietor of Chris Belin’s <Traveling> Drum School & Freelance Drumming, has been going strong since 1999 with a full roster of students and steady calendar of performances.
 
With the drum school, Chris has logged in over 19,000 individual lessons and 900,000 + traveling miles to date. Chris released “Drumming For The Young and the Young at Heart”, an instructional DVD with Ebook & play-along loops, in 2017 to great reviews. He was voted “#1 Drum Lessons in Pittsburgh” via Thumbtack.com and currently holds a “top pro” rating as well.
 
As a freelance drummer & percussionist, Chris has been performing 85-150 shows per year in many parts of the United States since the early 2000’s, working with over 30 bands / artists in all genres. He has also appeared on over 100 recordings, including 40 + official studio releases.
